HAWGOOD hinges type 4241 provide self closing of double action doors such as draft doors in schools, hospitals and offices, warehouse doors in stores and factories and gallery doors.
A pair of hinges type 4241 is suitable for doors with a maximum door width of 93 cm. and a maximum door weight of about 60 kg. For heavier and/or wider doors, we will be happy to advise you.
The hinge no. 42 (white pipe, extra strong) should be mounted as high as possible to prevent the door from hanging out.
ATTENTION!!! Because of the mechanical working of the hinge, it is absolutely necessary, depending on the use of the door, to regularly clean and re-grease the hinges.
