HAWGOOD spring hinges type 4140K ensure the self-closing of light double action doors such as draught doors in schools, hospitals and offices, warehouse doors in stores and factories and gallery doors.This type is always supplied with a fixing on 90ø and offers good access and exit due to the use of light springs. It is supplied as standard with socket-head screws which allow a through-and-through fastening so that the use in hollow doors is not a problem. The simple but solid construction of these spring hinges allows an opening angle of approx. 95ø to both sides. (The shape of the plastic shoe ensures that the door only slams through briefly and that it is kept securely closed. Because the door swings away from the frame when opened, the hanging seam is very minimal when the door is closed and the free passage is maximum when the door is open.
