In 1874 Julius Niededrenk founded a lock factory under his name in Velbert and began manufacturing furniture locks and hardware. A short time later, the company moved to its current location in Velbert-Tönisheide, where the trademark "JuNie" was coined in the 1930s.
The fact that they design and produce tools and dies themselves guarantees a high degree of precision and flexibility. Their modern machinery enables various production techniques such as CNC controlled injection moulding, die-cutting and turning.
