K1000 Tix AV is a ready-to-use, tixotropic, spreadable contact adhesive for vertical bonding of surface connections. This adhesive does not soak into the materials to be bonded and is therefore well suited for bonding porous materials. The most common application is bonding HPL on woody and porous substrates. Because of the high initial adhesion suitable for 'bent work' with a (permanent) high tension on the joint. Free of aromatic solvents and less harmful to people and environment.
Tixotropic, so can be used vertically.

Contact adhesive K1000 Tix AV is suitable for surface bonding of hard plastic sheets (duropal, formica, print hpl, resopal, etc.) and veneers to each other or to chipboard, plywood, hardboard plywood, mdf and other panel materials. Also for bonding rubber, cork, leather, cardboard, upholstery materials, flexible foams to each other or to chipboard, plywood, concrete, stone, marble, metals, aluminum and stainless steel. Do not use for bonding polystyrene sheet and foam products such as styrofoam, depron, styrodur. Use Frencken Elastic contact adhesive for this.
