This electro-hydraulic door closer is designed to close a door automatically in a panic situation. This can be done via a fire alarm system, remote control or panic button. As soon as the door is opened more than 70º, the closer function is switched off and the door will no longer close on its own. All models are fitted with a hold open function or free swing function. If the door closer is set to the hold open function, it will always remain locked in the open position. If the door closer is set to the free swing function, it can be operated freely, i.e. it feels as if no door closer has been fitted. As soon as the voltage is disconnected, the door will close automatically in both the hold open and free swing positions. All models are equipped with adjustable strength, adjustable closing speed, adjustable latching action and adjustable arm. Due to the unique camshaft they comply with document M and BS8300, which means that the door closer can be opened manually with very low pressure (2.75 kg) and is therefore very suitable for the elderly and children.
